Will they just cut marketing completely or mostly, or will they look to more cost-effective solutions vs. more brute/traditional advertising.
Please find some kind of source.

Everyone is now focusing on Internet marketing. Many online strategies are FREE like blogging, articles, press releases, classified ads, forums, social networks etc...Companies can employ people to do these tasks rather than shell out millions on traditional print, radio, and TV and get way more bang for their buck. Also online paid strategies like Banners, Google Adwords etc...also produce big results for relatively less than ''old school'' promo. People don't watch TV or listen to FM radio the way they used to. Everyone is online and despite the economy being bad, this hasn't changed. If anything it's only getting more prevalent. This is the digital/online revolution. If you want sources to validate this just search for ''modern marketing techniques'' or ''marketing in the 21st century'' or any such terms on Google and I'm sure you will find plenty of articles that will substantiate this.
