How to Raise money for a hunting trip that will be videotaped?

Some friends and I are trying to raise money for a 10 day hunting trip to Africa. Our idea is that we want to document the whole thing (ie video) and was wondering if it would work out to have companies sponsor us (we'd put their logos on our clothing, equipment, verbally mention them, etc) and since we're going to video it, we'd put it on Youtube, facebook, myspace, etc. Has anyone ever tried this?? Is this possible to even do?? Just curious what kind of info other people may have that could help us out.

I know companies do things like this all the time. Understand, I'm not looking to raise 20k or any absurd number...I understand this is a slightly ridiculous question, however, it's worth a shot right? Why shouldn't i try it??

If you want to go to Africa for a hunting trip, then work and save your money. the same way anyone pays for a vacation.

Why would a company sponsor you? You don't think that they will increase revenues because you wear their logo on some youtube video???
