Ugh, Westboro. I almost feel sorry for them. Can you imagine what sort of home these people were raised in, or awful things that happened in their lives, that caused them to glorify hate like this? Especially Fred Phelps himself - when I look at him I see nothing but emptiness in his eyes. It's disturbing to look at. What set off in his mind that turned him down a path like this?
And his brainwashed daughters, when I see them in interviews, saying things like "I don't have any friends at school, nobody likes me. But that's okay because God is the only friend I need." I just want to cry and try to smack them out of it. Ads |

Offensive. Hateful. Ignorant.
I've had the privilege to meet Holocaust survivors and hear their stories, and such comments I cannot take lightly. Yet, I am not surprised on the filth coming from Westboro, it never ceases to offend. Ads |

I'm not sure which is worse: the quote or the fact that you follow the twitter account. Neither shows a great deal of intelligence.
