What is more important - learning how to use Twitter or learning about history?

Oh please. As of now, I haven't used Twitter but I think I would know how to use it within one hour. You can't really compare it to history. I'm personally more interested in geography so there are others who know more about history than I do but having no clue about history is very embarrassing if you ask me.

Twitter, along with many other "gadgets, gizmos and whizzbangs", is just a flash in the pan. Here today gone tomorrow. If it earns even a footnote in History, I'll be very surprised. History on the other hand has been and will continue to be taught in civilized societies since man was first able to speak. 'Nuff said.
