How does the 'people you may know' thing work on facebook?
I keep seeing people with no mutual friends in my 'people you may know.' I'm wondering why they keep showing up.

They might be linked to your school, or your location or they may be mutual friends of two (or more) of your mutual friends.

I have same question on how they knew who my friends are even those we talk together phsycially without internet involve but facebook still know.

Let hope we got some answer by other people on this question. Because I am asking same thing.

Yeah mine does that too... It compiles every so often. It will pick friends of friends and people from your area or social networks (like school or work).

If you had a friend, but one of you removed the other, sometimes the device will still have random people that person was friends with show up -- -but it would still read no mutual friends since you are no longer friends with that person.
