Facebook notification problem?

Facebook notification problem?
Starting yesterday, my Facebook notifications have been acting up. I'll check them, then like 10 minutes later, the same ones pop up.
Also, comments aren't showing up. I can click on the notification saying someone commented on my status, but they won't show up on the thing they commented on. And the people didn't delete it.
Now, the same notifications are popping up over and over again, but saying they were done in different times. 8 minutes, then 7 minutes.
How do I fix this, and what's going on? >_<

This has happened before to me, too. Have you actually clicked on the notification? If not, then I think that's the problem. Usually I get game requests and those are the notifications that won't go away, usually because I didn't click on them. Before I log off, I check my notifications, the game requests are at the top most of the time, so I don't click on it and the next morning it's the same notification that pops up. Facebook has a tendency to make sure that you actually click on it. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. The commenting thing has happened to me, also. Sometimes when you try to look at the comment through the notification, it won't let you. If it's a status, go to that person's profile and see if the comment is there. If it's a photo, look at it from the photos, etc, etc.
