Motorola Karma with Facebook Application?
With the Motorola Karma cell phone, does the Facebook application cost extra like a regular phone web browser? I'm thinking about buying the Karma, and I was wondering if that application came free with the phone or if it was something that you have to pay monthly for.

The FB app that comes on the Karma is actually just a link that opens your web browser and sends you to the FB mobile site. Other phones have the "real" FB app that acts more like a program and, therefore, can offer unique features like incorporating your friends' FB info. into your address book. But I digress...
Regardles of the type of app, you will be charged a fee for accessing the internet. You can either opt to pay a fee each time you access the 'net or you can pay for a data plan (usually $20-$30/month). So to answer your question: the application itself is free and comes preloaded on your phone, but you have to pay to use it. Ads |
