Hmmm that's strange, I think you should send them an e-mail letting them know about the problem as you should be able to send and receive e-mails.

Could be a glitch or that they think you are spamming or that people have been complaining.

Edit: Mine is being weird at the moment saying I have one new mail when I answer a question but than when I go on my yahoo mail there is now new one. ahhhh
