What does # mean on facebook?
Somebody's status was "3 monsters....#crazytime!"

It's called a hashtag and it's usually used on Twitter. It's just like a word to summarize how you are feeling. For example, this person put crazy time because they are hyper because of the 3 (high in sugar) monsters.

It doesn't mean anything. It's mimicking a twitter hash tag, but on Facebook it's meaningless. Some people simultaneously post to their twitter and facebook feed though, so in that case it has a meaning, but only on twitter.

Its just a hashtag. People usually use it on twiiter, like for trending topics.. but nowadays you'll usually see it a few times on your newsfeed.

Its called a hashtag !
(‘Hash tags’) are used to add context to your ‘Tweet’ within a theme or event for example. You may use #Mad if your feeling mad , or Justin bieber had a baby #ForReal |
