How do you Remove a Twitter Profile from Google Cache?
I have deactivated my old, personal Twitter account. However, when you google my name you can still see the Twitter account in the search results, and you can click to see cached versions of the Twitter page. There is information on this page that has since become inappropriate to have online and I am trying to remove all traces. Is there a way to "ask" Google to remove a page from its cache?

You can only ask google to remove something if you verify you are the site owner.
If it is life or death type information I would contact twitter. If it is something that is going to upset someone else or you want to hide from your employer you are going to have to wait until google drops the cached version. This is can happen in a couple days or a couple months. If the twitter account no longer exists google will delete it. It is just a matter of time. Ads |
