Why do some people put @yournamehere on Facebook sometimes?
I'm lost. I keep seeing this on Facebook and Twitter...@andsomeonesname. Any ideas?

The @ (at) symbol is just another way of indicating who you're referring to in a response, usually if there are multiple responses or the person to whom you're referring could be mistaken.
