Mark Zuckerberg and the rest of Facebooks owners are making hundreds of millions from advertising on facebook, without the people they would have nothing!

If we all leave then he's got nada!

the fact is though we wouldn't all leave because facebook is part of our lives and daily routine, well for most of us. If it charged us to use the website it would loose even more customers and no longer be the most popular social networking site in the world

Facebook would get a lot less people on it if it charged. The maker makes a lot of money anyway he doesn't have to make any more.

Facebook provides you with a service to communicate with your friends and family. In return you have to look at ads on the site. It's a good deal. Perhaps there should be some kind of rebate for them being able to share your information with marketing companies in the form of free products, etc. Apart from that it's just capitalism, he provides you with a service and you pay back in some way.

Fair enough.
