Why do people on facebook...?
I just saw a status from a guy who was wishing his son a happy birthday. He had written it as if he was speaking to him. His son is 6 and does not have facebook.
So why do people do this type of thing? If you want people to know its your sons birthday, then that's fine. But don't write a letter to him on facebook that he will not see. Ads |

Its what people do. Like a public display.
For example, they say RIP on the anniversary of a death. Just to get it out there.. |

could be plenty of reasons really, maybe he wants all his friends to know how much he actually loves his son, or maybe it could just be that he wants people to think he loves his son, another reason is he just wants a reason to post something which I think is probably it.
People like attention, they like to feel important, like someone cares. It's why facebook, twitter and all those social media sites are so popular. |
