I don't know if its true but scarey anywayHACK ALERTS!!!! * DO NOT REQUEST TO ADD A 'STEFANIA COLAC' AND 'ALEJANDO SPITZNER ' THESE ARE HACKERS. SO TELL ALL ON YOUR WALL. IF SOMEONE ADDS THEM THEY EARN YOUR CONTACTS, EMPTY COMPUTER AND ADDRESSES. SO COPY AND PASTE THIS TEXT ON YOUR WALLon Message
sometimes u have hackers...but its rare..also there is something called a fake facebook login page...which means...a page that looks exactly like facebook but when u put ur password it is stolen...the only way to check that is by making sure the page is called FACEBOOK not faceebook or facebok or anything like that suspicoius...so...be careful...but dont panic =) |

All the hackers did was overload the server, they didn't hack anyone's accounts. It's safe to go there.

Just be sure that your web browser is fully updated - they correct security flaws with every update. And, as always, don't download something that someone asks you to unless you're sure of its safety.

Yes, it's safe. There's hackers everywhere you go. It's not like some long guy is running around just on facebook throwing viruses everywhere. You'd also have to get the virus onto your computer. It's not as easy as you might think. Neither of those sites allow HTML either, which only makes things more difficult.
Now, at the same time, think about the millions and millions of facebook users and then the millions and millions of twitter users. The odds of becoming a direct hacker target is virtually nothing. If you want to know the ultimate way to get a virus on your computer over anything else, it's not going to be from somewhere like myspace or facebook. The number one way is browsing porn, however that's declining. Really, the big way now is through torrents and free downloads through programs such as Limewire. You honestly have no idea what you're downloading every time (ever wonder why some files have odd sizes?). It's not even hacking or anything like that considering the user is voluntarily putting those files onto his or her computer. If you want, Ares for music is actually pretty decent, but I wouldn't go beyond music. Also, Limewire is crap software anyway that allows everything under the sun into your computer. |
