Would humans be happier without Facebook/media?

While facebook is fun and a great way of keeping in touch with those that live away from us or things of that nature, there is also alot of drama and childish bs associated it w it as well as all social media. I think we would ultimately be happier without it. However, now that we have it and are used to it in our everyday lives if it were suddenly taken away it would be khaos..If we had never been exposed to it, i think we would have been better off.
