How to reply??What to do?? (urgent!)?
My best friend is afraid of relationships .. She had only one and it went so bad ..
She loved the guy so much but he cheated on her .. I told her that I like her and she told me that she is not over ex and she doesn't like me that way + our friendship is great and she doesn't wanna ruin it I told her fine, just forget everything I said. and be just friends Then I noticed a change in her way of treating me.. She became kind of cold .. I asked her about it .. She was like .. We can't be friends anymore, it is weird .. After what happened we can't be as close as we were .. I tried to convince her that everything is fine and nothing happened .. I was like, I just told you that I like you!! You don't like me back? Fine, let's move on!! At the end of the conversation I told her .. You don't wanna be friends? OK, I can't do anything about it .. bye, I wish the best in your life.. and I deleted her from my bbm , facebook , twitter ... etc _____________________ This was one week ago .. Now she just sent me Happy birth Day message! How should I reply??? Should be like " Thaaank you .. You're the best!" or more like " Thank you!" I dunno .. + what should I do next? Should ask to enter msn or something to chat? I dunno pleease help!! I'm confused .. Why did she even sent the hbd massage! Ads |

Don't be too eager as shell think that you liking her is still at the front of your mind. If you think that you can genuinely be friends without your feelings get in the way then you need to give her a bit of space for her to realise this (but don't go crazy distant!)
Say thank you, ask her how her week has been and if any crazy stuff (or something you would say aha) has happened. But keep it aloof. Just keep it light and chatty. Good luck and don't over think Ads |

You should do what your heart tells you :B totally lame to say, I know, but I think that's the right thing to do. Don't let people on here decide these kinds of things for you because you will always know more about the situation. Do what you want to do, imagine what you would do in the situation if you didnt have to worry about her reaction. That will probably lead you in the right direction. Also I'd like to note that communication is key in ANY relationship. Sitting down and TALKING without yelling or getting frustrated and trying to understand one another could possibly mend your friendship with her too. I've had a best friend for nine years. I couldn't imagine not talking to her if I was upset at something she did or said. And I know nothing she could ever do would make me not want to be friends with her. I'd always forgive her because I love her very much :DDDD so yeah. Hope this helps it's never easy to loose a friend

From personal experience I would message her
"Well thank you very much. How have you been? " The trick is to keep the conversation going. Call her if you feel like it. Good luck to ya' & happy birthday partna' |

A simple "oh thanks" would work fine... She didn't bother cutting you off, so honestly I don't think you should be too warm towards her (it's not your fault, she just needs her space).
Just ask her how she's been (I would suggest not using smiley faces or such) that way she's gonna know you are still bothered from your guys last convo. The rest is up to you, do NOT come off as too easy, she'll most likely lose interest... however be fun and playful when the times right! Good Luck :] |

Just say "thank you" You already tried to befriends with her now if she wants to be friends she'll put effort in.
