Why are people so judgemental when it comes to music?

I'm sorry, but your 'friends' are the ones that 'suck'. If they listen to rap, and want you to, I can make a good guess that they care wayyy to much about what others think of them...
Your music taste are just fine, infact a lot better than what most rappers talk aout. You should not let your 'friends' tell you what to listen to and make your own choices.
And, it doesn't matter what kind of music you listen to. It does matter what kind of person you are.
Listen to what makes you happy, not what your friends tell you to do. The phrase "they all told me I should be listening to rap" really makes me mad. Who are they that they think you need to do to what they say? You listen to Flyleaf all you want. Not rap, if you don't like it.
