Not sure if you wish to consider mononucleosis(kissing disease) a true social disease but that is the closest I would think could be considered 'sociable.'
Innocent kissing, exchanging saliva can produce a viral illness that makes you fell crappy for days or weeks. Kind of has a neat ring to it when you tell people you had the KISSING DISEASE, sort of like a badge of honor. Much better than saying you had the clap. |

When I read the personals online and in alternative weekly (just for fun and to see if I can catch someone I know obviously posting there), often I see ads with mentions of HIV positive status or herpes.... So I guess they can create a form of social networking....
