Why is God such a horrible salesman?

God has the best product of all time (eternal life) and yet a ton more people will choose not to accept it. Today all it would take is a little update on the bible so its not so hard to read maybe a couple of miracles and boom you triple your followers. Its like god is on twitter he had a couple of good tweets but now he doesnt get on anymore but still expects a lot of followers come on!....i have a hard time wrapping my brain around if god is real then what is the point of creating man? It seems extremely cruel to create the world and create man and command them to worship him and if they dont then they will suffer for the rest of eternity... Also if god knows all and is in complete control why even go through the charade of life? He knows you will sin and go to hell and he still creates you? I tend to disagree with this point. In the bible it says that god gets upset with humans and decides to wipe them out ultimately changing his mind and sparing noah but i think by saying this it proves that maybe god doesnt know all or for whatever chooses not to? Theres a lot of things that dont seem to add up..,

I agree with you but I still believe....also if we cannot kill why would God kill or ask you to....God,would never do that....also I need to add to all terrorists, and jihad followers...no no no you cannot kill in the name of God....you will all burn in hell for that...sorry I had to throw that in there.....

Either God doesn't exist or he's not who you think he is. Christian beliefs are entirely flawed and completely subjective. Just look at how the entire new testament was written (by Paul and his followers) and you'll see. It was just a bunch of fanatics travelling the countryside spreading some story that spurred out of control (That may have been based off of some facts). Ever seen a youtube video go viral? That's exactly what happened with Christianity.

I see a couple of flaws in your plan.

First of all, if you would post "tweets" online in the name of God, do you think he'd like that? Have you got his permission to create an account for him? There's nothing written in the Bible that says: Go, and create me a Twitter account, and while you're at it, post me some 9gag jokes on my Facebook.

Secondly, if God decided to kill all humans, except for Noah, how did he reproduce and how do we exist? Did he do some forbidden things with a monkey? Is that why Darwin's theory is so thoroughly denied by the church?

And finally, if it's someone who wants followers, it's the church, not God. If God wanted followers, and he is all knowing, don't you think he would've thought of a better way to gain followers?
People are too full of themselves, thinking they are the speakers of God. If God really wanted us to know he existed without a doubt, he would've told us in a better way.
