Printer keeps printing blank pages?!!?

I have a Dell 965, very old, not mine, my relatives gave it to me. I just got new ink, but It's printing out blank pages!! What should I do? This happens everytime I get new ink, please help!!
I have a magazine due tommorow !! x.x

Printers rarely RARELY if ever work.

Even if they're brand new.

it's possible the print heads are clogged with old ink. you might be able to get it working with a kit like this.

Dell does not sell any model called 965 printer.
There are 962, 964, 966, 968 etc.
Below is the list of Dell printers, you can try to verify the type of printer you have and download the users manual from the link.
Users manual will help in troubleshooting and cleaning the printer for better functionality.
