I got rid of mine because of all the drama, also when you think about it it's kind of creepy reading every little detail in everyone's life. and I don't care enough to tell everybody every detail about mine... also it got kind of ghetto like MySpace

i only use it to communicate with a few long distance friends and to see what you put up lately, i would like to leave, i'm really tired of people who post pictures of their meals and the ones that hash out personal problems in a public manner but i keep it because of my friends

Yes... I have a personal account and one for our family business.

I don't have ANY problems with Facebook simply because I don't accept people as "friends" who are NOT friends. It's been EXCELLENT for getting back in touch with friends from high-school (30 years ago) and my Navy career (1985-2010). As well as several "groups" that deal with ranching, business, and such... a good source of information, or at least contacts for getting information.

I do not have a Twitter account... I don't need to comment on every event in my life, other's lives, and when I DO... I need more than 144 (?) characters to do so.

I've never used Facebook.[I'm really new to the Internet and social media though]
Going by your interpretation of it I'm not going to run off to break any records to sign up with them either.

I don't understand people.
It costs them nothing to be civil and pleasant, yet they seem to be indifferent to people's feelings and sometimes appear to get a buzz by being obnoxious on these supposed "social" sites.

I deactivated it a while back, but I missed a few people who couldn't be bothered to make the effort to contact me another way.

I got it back, but don't use it much. I use the Facebook Messenger app sometimes, so I can talk to people without being on the actual site.
