Obama supporters - Are you upset that Obama didn't keep his campaign promise not to raise your taxes?
Democrats who supported the president’s re-election just had NO idea that his steadfast pledge to raise taxes meant that he was really going to raise taxes. They thought he planned to just hit those filthy “1 percenters,” you know, the ones who earned fortunes through their inventiveness and hard work. They thought the free ride would continue forever.

So this week, as taxes went up for millions of Americans — which Republicans predicted throughout the campaign would happen — it was fun to watch the agoggery of the left.

“Bake,” who may have been trolling the site, jumped into the thread posted Friday. “My paycheck just went down. So did my wife’s. This hurts us. But everybody says it’s a good thing, so I guess we just suck it up and get used to it. I call it a tax increase on the middle class. I wonder what they call it. Somebody on this thread called it a ‘premium.’ Nope. It’s a tax, and it just went up.”

“I know to expect between $93 and $94 less in my paycheck on the 15th,” wrote the ironically named “RomneyLies.”

The Twittersphere was even funnier.

“Really, how am I ever supposed to pay off my student loans if my already small paycheck keeps getting smaller? Help a sister out, Obama,” wrote “Meet Virginia.” “Nancy Thongkham” was much more furious. “F***ing Obama! F*** you! This taking out more taxes s*** better f***ing help me out!! Very upset to see my paycheck less today!”

Obama voters only care about "change." And that's what they done.

-2/4/10 Gallup poll: 61% of liberals have a positive view of socialism.

-6/2/11 Gallup poll: 71% of democrats favor re-distributing wealth.

-9/6-9/2012 http://www.gallup.com/poll/157481/majori: Those who want more government control over us: Republicans 15%; Independents, 29%; Democrats 67%.

-Now they have national health care, the foundation of all welfare and socialist states.

We are not longer a Republic, just as Ben Franklin predicted: "When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."

We’re now a democracy.

Thomas Jefferson: "A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.”

Ben Franklin: "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.”

And with Obama’s upcoming Supreme Court appointments democrats will own the courts and make us a permanent European-style welfare state.

That's fine with me. It would have gone up even more with Romney's plan.

Are you referring to the end of the temporary payroll Holiday tax cuts? They were expected to end on Jan.1, 2013 because they were temporary. That is not the same thing as a raise in taxes.. result is the same, however. Since we are retired, we don't have a payroll taxes.

Are you referring to the payroll tax holiday that President Obama instituted? If so, it was not renewed as part of the deal reached between Republicans and Democrats.

It is not clear why you are attacking President Obama over the non-renewal of his own tax cut, considering the crisis settlement that was just agreed to because of Republican determination to protect the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.

He didn't "raise" my taxes, some temporary payroll tax cuts expired. (note the word "temporary") If an extra 2% to FICA will keep it solvent for a few years and keep my parents from having to move in with me, I'm all for it. How much did they spend raising me? I think that the best thing that could have happened is that we went zooming off the proverbial cliff, then maybe (just maybe) the Wing Nuts from both parties would get their crap together and meet in the middle with the moderates to fix this country. But, I reckon, they will get another swing at it in a month or two when we catch up to the can again...

Weird. I thought CONGRESS has the responsibility to write the tax laws.

But no, I don't mind that the TEMPORARY payroll tax break ended when it was supposed to.

Just think, if the TEMPORARY Bush tax cuts had ended when they were supposed to, we'd be less deep in debt.
