wow you are in somewhat of a pickle. first you need to understand why you did it. i mean you said yourself that twitter is huge in your city which means somewhere along the line you knew she could find out. perhaps you wanted to know if you had the power to hurt her with words? well you are the only one who knows why you did it so figure it out then go to her and explain why you did it and sincerely apologize. remember saying "i'm sorry" to something this extreme means you will never do it again. she is your mother so i am sure she will forgive you but the damage has been done. let's hope both of you get past this. good luck dear.

Mom,
I was really upset that day.I was very stupid and not in my right mind, those words do not express how I feel about you. I feel torn up inside that you had to witness those words and that I humiliated you and myself. If I did mean it I would not be apologizing to you right now. I shouldn't have used that word when I was refering to someone I love. Mom I am sorry.
Then go on twitter and write a sappy message about how much you love your mom and how much she does for you or how much she loves you back.

i havebeen really disrespfully to my father when i was younger even thought he means the world to me and i felt so bad. so what i did was write him a long letter of how sorry i was to have said things like that to him. i know it hurt him but once he read it and i talked to him he understood i was just growning up and was angery at the world. as a grown woman now i understand how much i put my dad threw and i i still to this dad let my dad know im sorry and hes my everything .
