Computer Freeze and random loading colors while rebooting?
I keep getting a freeze screen and having to force restart my laptop. Sometimes when i go to reboot the laptop i get red white blue black screen and they just repeat and it wont reboot.
I have had problems with my nvidia driver failing before is this the problem or would you say it is hardware?
Computer: Dell xps m1730

Try reinstalling the newest Nvidia drivers from here- http://search.dell.com/results.aspx?c=us...e&~ck=anav
If your PC fails when it starts loading Windows try booting up in "Safemode with Networking" by holding down the F8 key whilst restarting your PC, then reinstall the Nvidia drivers and restart your PC again. If this doesn't work, or your PC fails to boot up at all, you are probably looking at a hardware problem.

Hello Joey,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Based on the above symptoms, It's more likely that you have a bad video card.

Try running the hardware diagnostics and see if it shows any errors. You can follow the instructions from http://dell.to/dU0fpw

Also, If you want to email me your service tag number, I will have a look at your warranty status to see what options we have. You can reach me at Krishna_KRN@Dell.com

Regards,
Dell-Kris K
