How exactly does it work when you like something on facebook?
Who is able to see if you like a post or a picture in facebook. Like when do you know if it is going to show in my friends newsfeed? Thank you for your time, I'm new to facebook and I do not know everything about it.

It is based on the audience of the post you have liked. if that post is public or friends of friends, then it will show it in your friend's newsfeed. Otherwise it wont show in their newsfeed.

Well Whoever can view a post can see that you like that particular post i.e Depends on the privacy settings of that post which is specified by the user who created that post
Also Your friends will Be Able to see that you like that post on their newsfeed BUT you can also hide it from their newsfeeds using your activity Log which is basically a small button beneath your cover pic All you want to know about your activity log http://www.facebook.com/help/437430672945092/ Hope This Helps |
