Is there a virus on facebook?

It's not really a virus but an invitation to download a virus. Called "Koobface", it says you need to install flash player. If you do so, it actually downloads and installs the virus. So, there is no virus simply from going to facebook. Just as with most viruses, you need to allow an installation to be infected. Simply don't install anything from facebook and you will be safe.

well its only happen if some one send you a virus in the facebook message which called koobface
DONT OPEN IT, it can get you your pc infected
like whoever send you a message or add the friend request, only accept it if you know the person
