My computer fell and only turns on sometimes, can anyone tell me what is wrong with it?

Its a Dell Studio 1558 and most times, whenever I press the power button, the power button light, the charging light and the keyboard lights flash, and it makes a tiny click sound, but wont turn on. Sometimes whenever it does turn on, it only stays on for a few seconds or minutes, and other times up to half an hour, despite its temperature. How do i know what is wrong with it?

I cant really tell much, but i guess its the hdd which is either damaged or its connectivity disentangled if everything else i hope is fine...
My desktop behaved such when i messed with its hdd thread...
