You could deactivate your account for some time in order to take a break. See if that helps you at all?
How do I deactivate my account? To deactivate your account: -Click the account menu at the top right of any Facebook page -Select Account Settings -Click Security in the left-hand column -Click Deactivate your account |

Facebook is free to users, which means it must rely on advertising to make money. Facebook advertising is generally inexpensive, so many advertisers buy advertising campaigns. They can target specific groups of users using Facebook, but some ads are annoying, repetitive, misleading or otherwise problematic. Though it's not possible to completely stop seeing advertisements on the site, you can avoid the annoying ones and minimize your contact with a great deal of Facebook advertising.
