The media shoves it down our throat that being liberal means "progress" and "change" in good ways. Anyone not on board with the liberal agenda is labeled a) racist b) homophobic or c) outdated and behind in the times. So being liberal is hip right now which is also a reason why the sports and movie stars are mainly liberals. Being gay is also in right now. Social media such as facebook is a great way for people to show off who and what they support and since being liberal is what's hot, many people will flaunt that. Keep in mind that the teenage kiddies who use facebook will say or do whatever they can to be accepted, so they will follow like sheep in the footsteps of people like Tom Cruise.

The media controls what we see, and the media is VERY liberal. The ultimate form of brainwashing.
