I accidentally liked a status on fb and i hit unlike really quick i looked on my.activity log and.it didn't apear so i deactivated my account till the coast is clear will the person see the notification since i deactivated the account will they be able to.see who it was?

If you liked it, the notification automatically gets sent to the user, even if you un-liked 1 second later. ALL other people won't know and the user will only know once (when they open their notifications).
If you de-activated the account in time, it may only say "Facebook User" (MAY!!!). So yeah, there you go.

the other person is wrong - the like notification goes away as soon as you unlike it - there is no need to deactivate your account over something so trivial

You Didint Need to Deactivate your Account as Soon as you Remove the Like Everything Goes Away its Like you Never Even Liked it in the First Place
