Feeling left out by cousins?

Has this happened to anyone were your cousins have each other on Facebook and labeled them as a cousin or family member but haven't added you in the category even if your friends on Facebook . They also have each others numbers and text each other but don't ever hang out with you. It's depressing and I get mad because they are nice to me but it gets me jealous. I can't stop thinking about it. I don't get it it's like they like me and are happy to see me but I feel left out of their circle

I can pretty much relate to that, it might be because of age difference(even 2 years can be huge). Also they might have more history together then you and so may be originally closer to each other then to you. You probably shouldn't take this personally. When/if you have family get togethers try to make your conversations more personal, otherwise don't feel too left out. That is life.
