Samsung S3, Galaxy Note 2, iPhone 5?
I'm in Grade 9 / 3rd year highschool girl who loves to tweet, use instagram, chech my facebook, search online, take pictures, skype, playe games during free time. What should I buy? Please be more practical, state the reasons why is the other better and the pros and cons. Thank you!

I have a Sony Xperia Arc S.

Do you think I should I wait for the next release of these phones next year? Is it worth it?

It's obvious that out of those 3 the Note II is better. Has the most features out of the 3. All 3 phones are basically capable of doing the things you want. The camera on all 3 phones are pretty much identical (no really, they use the exact same cameras made by Sony). The S III and Note II is a bit like the Xperia Arc S (since they run the same OS), but it runs on a newer version which makes it a very good experience. But since you're in year 9, I don't think you need such high end phones. But since you insist, Galaxy Note II FTW!

S III Pros:
Large HD Super AMOLED Screen
Runs on Android 4.1.2
Decent specs.
Can add SD card for memory expansion

S III Cons:
Most fragile phone I've ever seen (a case is a must)
Screen has a pentile matrix which kinda makes images look fuzzy when it shouldn't (considering the HD resolution)

Note II Pros:
It's everything that the S III is but better
Better battery
1 version: has 4G
Massive screen (no pentile so quite sharper compared to S III)
Durable
Stylus
Faster

Note II Cons:
Not for me but for you, might be too big

iPhone 5 Pros:
Compact
Fast
Easy to use

iPhone 5 Cons:
Limited
Relies heavily on iTunes
Too basic, can't do a lot
App Store has more paid apps than free apps (compared to Google Play)

I would personally buy the iphone 5 as I personally do not like the size of the s3 and note 2. I like a phone that is light like the iphone 5. Also the iphone 5 is fast and has a stunning retina display. hope this helps

I'd go to a shop and try out all three in your hand. All three are great phones but their sizes are so different it does matter for using comfort.

5's hardware is far superior to anything out there today, including the battery (any battery even comparable is much bigger in other phones, iphone 5 is very small and thin, so apple has figured out how to get far better battery life while getting smaller).
Iphones are also the safest phones today because all app code goes through itunes and it reviewed before getting there, so you don't need antivirus apps running like you need on other phones. The thin design is good too because it fits in your hand and pocket and isn't like a plate in your pocket.
