When a computer has a virus, can the source it came from be tracked?
Like, I'm 16 and I'm worried some of the viruses on my computer came from my network websites like bebo or facebook. My parents don't know I have them so if they go get the computer fixed by a computer person or just by getting something like spyware, can the virus be tracked back to the website it came from?

Theoretically. A technician might also look in computer logs to see if there's an obvious likely source, or might simply notice in the process.

They'll probably be more worried about getting things fixed and prevented in the future than your facebook account, however.
