Someone said something kinda rude over Facebook. How do I make it clear that my feelings were hurt without being rude?

Can you speak to them on the phone?

Anyways, just send them a private message making sure, whatever was said, was really meant the way you read it. HUGE problem with facebook, myspace, and twitter, is people joke and it's read wrong. Or people read into it too much. Or may be they didn't mean for it to come out that way.

If you're 100% sure it's something you should be hurt about let them know in a private message or email. (Don't repeat it over facebook) Tell them what was said hurt your feelings and you felt even more hurt they put it on their webpage. Have someone you trust that won't tell read it to. Don't tell them what it's about. This way you can make sure it's not read as rude. If you're still not sure, CALL THEM. Smile

I really hope this is someone you know well. I'm not trying to say your overreacting, but things get blown out of proportion more over the net, since people choose to type what they feel instead of say it.

Give them a comment back, saying that their remark was inappropriate, and however they respond back then take it from there.
