Because, unfortunately, there are 300 million guns in the US - one for every person. It is unlikely that we could ever get enough guns away from criminals to make it safe to take the guns from civilians. 1. The media media likes to mold things so the get a big reaction. They also tend to leave bits a pieces of the story out.

For example in both the Colorado theater shooting and the most resent elementary school shooting both individuals were on medication for having mental problems. Also they both had a history of displaying anti social tendinceys. Multiple people had seen that these people had major issues but failed to do anything about.

Also if you recall the recent mall shooting. There was an individual who had a legal firearm on him who attempted to take the out the shooter. He mad the discussion no to fire because he did not have a clear shot. However due to his actions the shooter did see him and went into the stare well.

Side not Israly teachers are armed.

Also about the media there had been a recent rise in robberies to Internet cafes that offer gambling. There was an old man who had a legal firearm on him who chased of 2 armed gun men. It was only a blimp on the media

2 guns ARE NOT the leading killer in America. Thinks like smoking, drunk driving rate higher. Also baseball bats and knives have more kills than guns a year.

In America we tend to be highly reactive to things. And if you remember anything that I wrote remember this. " the first rule to dealing with people is that people are dumb." Example we often believe someone is guilty based only by what the media displays.


Sorry I got side tracked writing this I did not hit all the points that I would have liked to but I can tell your smart and on the right track. Remember legislation will only take legal guns off the street.

It's not a gun issue. It's a people issue. Do you think everyone in the world is stable? Obviously not. Liberals want to take guns away so they can run the country how they want without having to worry about the citizens rebelling. By the sound of it you're obviously one of them.

So they decide to take guns away. Next people will start running kids over at a bus stop instead of shooting up schools. The unstable people will still get guns from people smuggling them in and they'll kill us who are obeying the rules and have no defense.

It's really not that hard to figure this all out. You're a teenager so you're not open to all these possibilities.

Obama keeps giving money to people to sit on their butts daily while my dad beats his brains out in a furniture factory every day of the week. Eventually the 'giving' money will be gone and this country will really be broke. That's a liberal for you. Making a person work so they can take their money and give it to someone else.
