I am currently in Sixthform at my high school in the UK year 12 and I am leaving after year 13 in the year 2014 and teachers are a big part of our lives and I am quite close to some of mine. Are you aloud to have them on Facebooks when you have left or if they leave before you leave?

No conflict of interest when you're talking about former teachers.

No, not until you learn how to spell "allowed".

After you graduate you can add your teachers on Facebook, email them from their personal accounts, talk to them on the phone and be their official friends [if they agree to that of course]. After you have graduated you are now seen in the eyes of your former teachers and the public as an adult.

Once you leave school it should be fine.

I still would not enjoy having my former students on Facebook, but I know some teachers who do this and keep in touch with kids they enjoyed working with.
