What is the difference between 'views' and 'impressions' in Facebook?
I'm possibly interested in advertising a Facebook business page in order to draw more views. Doing the "Cost per Click" method is not applicable to my business because my ROI would be awful. I just need views (which I assume are impressions?); clicks are of no importance to me. So the CPM method is what I'm going with here.
However, I don't understand what exactly impressions are (Facebook charges you your bid price for 1,000 impressions). Does that just mean when I accumulate 1,000 views, then they will charge me my bid price? Or does that relate to something else? Thanks. Ads |

An impression or view means that your ad was shown on a page. A click means someone clicked on the ad when it was shown.
Facebook charges you based upon the number of impressions shown in a day. They will bill you once per day to your credit card. Ads |
