social psychology is relevent to marketing, because ideas from social psychology can applied to marketing. For example a businesses need to manage how they present themselves to customer/other business, just as people manage the impression they give to other people by wearing certain clothes ect. Also a business must think of how customers like to be seen by others so they must tailor their products and services to customers. e.g a person who likes to be seen as sophisticated and wealthy will only buy good/services that luxurious thus fuffiling their desire to be seen as wealthy and sophisticated.
