How do I turn on email notifications for facebook messages?

I went to account settings -> notifications -> email and there doesn't seem to be any check box or something to turn on notifications for messages.

There also doesn't seem to be any check box to turn notifications off either for that matter.

After that you will have to go for edit and choose your option. Finally save it. Hope it will work.

you can turn on your email notification by rientering your email an your profile or submit your email to facebook or contect them

Having the same problem. To previous posters, turning on notifications for messages isn't an option.
