What do you think about the guy I like?

Me and this guy were pretty good friends last year at school and I always had a little crush on him but I never bothered with it because my friend liked him, she denied it at the time but everyone could easily tell that she did. Once we went on holidays we stopped talking, we might had talked once on facebook. We are back at school and have been for 2 weeks and now the same friends I talked about earlier is dating him and we still don't talk. I swear he just avoids making eye contact with me, there has been that many times that we have been near each other and it's like he doesn't even know I exist anymore. Mind you he still has other female friends.

What are your thoughts on this?
