I read every book of the Bible at least once during the course of the last twelve months.

I will be doing the same thing during the coming twelve months.

Until 10 seconds ago, I had never even heard of groundwire.

I agree with Stimpy. they quote parts that suit their lunatic beliefs but ignore the rest.
it says somewhere that a man must "cut not the hair of his head nor trim the corners of his beard".
dont see many Christians following that one do we.

In most protestant churches, the Bible is part of the weekly service.

In some churches, just readings from(italic) the Bible are used in the service. In those cases, it's up to the people to read it at home.

I know some people who read the Bible every day and don't even go to church.

It has a few plot twists, but the bible is a pretty good read! For such an old book, it's a fun story. You don't get fantasy on that scale any more.
Here comes the hate...
But in all seriousness, I know several Christians who merely declare themselves religious and do nothing more - thinking that if God actually exists that will be enough to keep them out of hell. Ironically, they act less Christian than I do otherwise, and if God does exist I'm going to be the one who gets damned and not them... How's that fair?
The only Christian I know who actually reads the bible is my grandmother, and in all fairness I should be speaking in the past tense when referencing her. Rest in peace. Other than her, I know of none.

People were tortured and murdered for trying to give us the Bible in our own language.

Now many Christians don't even bother to open it even though it's legal and available in print, online and even free.

It's not only tragic, it's dangerous. An uneducated Christian is an easy prey in this world...
