Does everyone in the United States have ADD?

While there is almost a certainty that American doctors over-prescribe for ADD that does not mean that...hey - is that a bird?

Well its funny because they prescribe methanphedamine (sp) for this disorder...and its the exact same thing as crystal meth. So not only do you have children being diagnosed with add and being taught they aren't able to focus but they are givin methanphedamine on top of this. I was a victim of this diagnosis and medication and it costed me my education. When I was 11 years old and had made As and Bs my whole life my teacher in a public school told my mom to take me to a certain doctor for a checkup. Well since my mom believed in the public school system she did exactley what she was told and took me to this certain doctor. The doctor did his examination and quickly diagnosed me with add and gave me a prescription for methanphedamine. Now here I am a developing 11 year old child and they have gave me meth. The first day I took it I became so high on the drug I shut down and couldn't even give a presentation to my class. My parents made me continue to take the drug and I got zeros in everything...couldn't eat or function because the methanphedamine takes away your appetite. Where in gods heaven does a school of any kind have 11 year old children put on meth. I look at the history and origins of the substance and it doesn't look good at all. I took the drug through high school and continued to make zeros. I was kicked out of school. Today im 30 and I can't even get a job at mcdonalds.
