Choosing a topic for the Society and Culture PIP.?

I have no clue of what to make my topic.

I'm interested in maybe doing something to do with the impact of social media on society, but there isn't much unique cross cultural comparison to do with it. And I was thinking of adapting 'Researching the similarities and diferences in mother- daughter relationships between yourself, your mother and your grandmother.' to make it my own, but there isn't much I can think of to change it.

I'm interested in gender comparisons and the impact of differing religions on the gender concept?

I'll take into account any thing you say!
