Your refrigerator will cooperate with the smart grid and the internet to tell you you need to buy more eggs, and when you get to the store your whole list will be waiting, paid for automatically from your bank account. All you have to do is carry them inside and the RFID chips will tell the refrigerator what new stuff is in there.

Oh, and the government will be able to tell if you are growing pot in your basement
