Why is Germany the most Democratic Nation along with some other European Countries?
In Germany Workers sit on the board of directors making decisions along side company officers holding equal decision making power. German Workers also have work councils in almost every work place, powerful national labor unions and overall social benefits which cover almost all citizens. Many Worker Cooperatives have formed over the past 10 years and have been encouraged/supported by the government. German Wages are second highest compared to the Swiss(mercer survey/after taxes and cost of living) while being the largest creditor nation on earth. Germany has 10 times less prisoners per capita in their prison system compared to America and also fund all elections with public money and equal media time for candidates. Germany has 7 main political parties and other smaller parties. Any one who needs help gets help(welfare) including housing, clothes, heating, food, healthcare, etc. Why has Germany/Northern Europe diverged away from America when it comes to democratic principles over the past 30 or 40 years? And even with the freedoms/benefits granted their citizens they(Northern Europe) still are the largest exporters/greatest creditors on the earth.

Could it be called Democracy? After all they have learnt they lost 2 wars eh! must now be seen to be Good to outside Countries or who would deal with them*
Question is why does Germany Force feed Greece Weapons who is looking to attack Greece?
And why must Greec continue to buy German Weaponary?
Do they hold any Oil? Why do they need to be Armed to the teeth?
If all the Orders for weaponry were cancelled ? how would that help mthe Greek econnomy?
Theve got a few Ancient Sites that they collect thousnand to visit
The Beaches can hardly be called beaches
ıslands that are barren in most places
Why do they need so many Arms would this money not be better spent on the Greeks?
Time the war Games were put to sleep forever?
If there is Peace in the Nations there will be pece in the world But not if the Arms manufactors have their way?

Sorry but germany is definitely NOT the most democratic country in this world.
(This does not mean that the country is bad).
But as far as i know Norway,Sweden,Swiss... are all ranked higher on a global democracy Index.
And sorry to say but most of your examples (wages, prison population, social benefits....)
have nothing to do with democracy...
Germany (and european countries in genereall) simple have a lot more social security programs
than the US for example.
But this does not make them more democratic (Ok most of them rank higher than the US anyway Wink
but this is not the point i try to make.
