Go to account : account settings : deactivate facebook acount

The only way is to go to settings and deactivate your account. You can activate it again if you chose to.

Go to your account settings and click on deactivate, you should also see delete my account, if not search delete my account and follow from there. It takes 2 weeks to completely delete a facebook account.

You cannot delete FB account permanently. we can only deactive it.
