why do people do this on facebook?
I see a lot of people commenting on peoples profile pictures who have like 50 likes on it or whatever saying, 'already liked it' why do they do this? does the person go round telling everyone to like their pictures on facebook or something?

That's exactly what they are doing. Trying to be more popular on Facebook. More likes = maybe more friends.
Its stupid and personally, I would delete the friend off Facebook, on their birthday. |

They have no lives outside the social network so they use sites like facebook to get popular for the wrong reasons.

This is a person with no life, they live for Facebook thinking that the things they accomplish on there actually amount to something when it doesn't.
