If I block someone from posting on my facebook wall but not my actual facebook what will happen?

I want to block someone from posting things on my wall and tagging me in things but I don't want them to really know about it. Like they keep tagging me in pictures that have nothing to do with me but that's just their way of saying "I WANT YOU TO SEE THIS PLEASE LOOK AT THIS HEHEHE". If I block them from posting on my wall will they be able to tell that I blocked them or will it just come up as some type of error? I can't block them or defriend them, it's a sensitive family member.

yup its just ok when u block them from postng or from tagging nothing will happen on there side they just keep tagging nd posting they dont know u have blocked them only u know that ...
