Twitter and Instagram question?

I've been trying really hard to get over my ex boyfriend; it's been extremely difficult. I was doing great - I blocked him on facebook and deleted his number. Out of sight out of mind. But then he starts showing up on my twitter and instagram feeds via other people. I quickly realized that blocking on these apps is not the same as on facebook being that I can still see everything he's posting. I don't want to see any of it; I don't even want to be tempted to look. So what I'm asking is: is there any way for me to block him so I can't see his posts? Because blocking him on twitter and instagram only prevents him from seeing mine and I don't care about that. I just don't want to be able to see his. Talking to him and asking him to block me is not an option. The break up was bad and we haven't spoken in months. I would appreciate any help; seeing his posts really brings the pain back and I need to move on. I just can't stop checking his posts :/

i've also had that problem, the only solution is yourself. think of seeing him a taboo. if his picture shows up in your feed then one thing only: "ignore"! it was effective for me, why won't it be to you. try it!
