SO..IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOU USE IT.
Many people use facebook searching for girls and chatting with the unknown people..
and facebook is even used to share information that u read in many websites....if u want any info to be shared with ur friends...u can share the link over ur wall and ur friends can click over the link o get the info...

Facebook has destroyed my life ! I met an old high school friend and dated him for nine months before I found out he was married ! We had a long distance relationship so I had no clue ! I am very depressed and lost ! I hope Facebook dosen't ruin anybody elses lives !

Yup Communication via Facebook and Twitter is such a waste of time according to me. I don't understand the constant need to communicate. Why would I want to tell someone where am I going to take shower at? I would rather invest time spent here in reading a book or stuff like that will further help me in future. But yes whenever you are getting bored n no one around you then facebook will help you a lot to get rid of silence.
